Unleashing Our Authentic Selves within Nature
Presentation Introduction:
Much of human suffering and crises in the physical, mental and spiritual realms are aspects of unbalance and repression of the Self. Diseases, self-destructive behaviors, the devastation of our environment, excessive greed, poisoned food and water and an epidemic of modern mental and physical disorders all point to serious imbalance. This is a result of a basic ‘fall from grace;’ We have been systematically cut off from nature and programmed to believe that we are not the animals within Nature that we are. Through my work with Feral Magick as expressed in my last book, Werewolf Magick, I dove deep into prehistoric and authentic shamanic sources and realized that most of our problems began with our cultural, religious and historical severing our ‘human’ selves from our ‘animal’ selves.Tribal cultures tend to see humans and animals as all ‘people’ but our belief that we have divine dominion over all of nature along with our mechanistic view of nature and animals has led us to the current ecological disaster as well as our deep imbalance. By remembering and renewing the ancient feral alchemy of the Shapeshifters and Shamans, we can call up our sleeping imprisoned Animalself. The key is reactivating our deepest links with the primal ‘animal brain centers’ as well as our DNA where all animal spirits reside. In this way we can each free our innate Animalself and thus reconnect with the animals we have always been, thus regaining our feral instincts, intuition and insight. This leads to re embracing our true but forgotten place within our ecosystem and thus returning to being of nature, not as an observer. For the last four years I have spent all my time on this work, have discovered internal and external magickal alchemical techniques for unleashing, focusing and utilizing the Animalself to these ends. Feral alchemy is a direct way to remove restrictions that make us miserable, ill and fenced-off and opens the way for the true Great Work of again accessing the nurturing power and soul of Mother Nature, the Prima Materia itself.

Biography:
Denny Sargent (aka: Aion 131, Hermeticusnath) is a Seattle writer, artist and university instructor whose many, extensive global travels and esoteric studies have informed his books. Involved in a number of esoteric traditions for decades, he has written about Alternative Religions, Hermetic Magick, Taoism, Animism, Shinto and Tantra and now Feral Magick.
