Intro: The mythic Aeons of human history reveal archetypal processes of human evolution, Maat or Truth. The ‘final aeon’ will be/is that of Maat- the united consciousness of all human beings and the birth of Homo Veritas.

Nema, the HML and the Goal of Panaeonic Magick
The ‘Aeons’
Definition: From the beginning when the world was created (by the gods and so on) until the present time a surprising variety of ancient cultures viewed ‘time’ as a series of transformations that were divine and somewhat preordained. Often called Eons, Aeons, Ages or Kalpas, each age was mythically assigned a particular power, ethos, metal and sometimes a specific god or goddess which ruled over that age. According to Thelemites and other magickal types we are in the Age of Horus now, a time of force and fire, which fits quite well with how things are. According to the ancient Greeks, we are in the age of Lead, ruled by Saturn or Chronos. According to the Hindus and Tantrikas, we are in the age of Kali now, an Iron age when all is chaos but all wisdom is revealed to those with the wit to see.
These are archetypal, mythic and magickal schemas but to understand how we view and work with Maat it is important to know the schema within which we operate in the Horus Maat Lodge. This aeonic schema is not taken literally or as ‘real’ but as states of human evolution that are typified by certain manifestations. They are not boxes or limits or labels, rather see them as liminal concepts that prepare us for evolutionary change and awakening to new paradigms.
THE PROGRESSION OF THE AEONS:
This whole paradigm moves through Time from the beginning of Earth as a lifeless glowing ball to the present. Ah, but time, like anything else, is a conceptual framework and, according to physicists, is moving in at least 2 directions at the same time. If, as quantum theory portends, all time is occurring simultaneously, then any perception we have of time, evolution and
spiritual progression is simply another paradigm within which to work.
But, this concept of progressive aeons is but a liminal ‘mythic’ history paradigm of time, and is reflected in similar frameworks in other cultures, is the idea of ‘ages’ or ‘Aeons’ that have particular meaning and qualities. In this archetypal view, this mythic ‘progression of Aeons’ is more about the changing cultures and experiences and mental and psychological increased complexity of humanity than anything else.
This ‘ages’ are seen as ARCHETYPAL FORCES within us now, as MASKS we might wear and as STATES OF CONSCIOUSNESS, all at the same time.The Aeon or Archetype that we are focusing on now is the ‘final’ age after this one, the Aeon of MAAT. To understand how crucial MAAT is and how this power can help save our species I must first briefly offer a short description of ‘the Aeons’ as they are used in this book:
The Nameless Aeon
TIME PERIOD: From the creation of the Earth until mankind begins to use language as a fully formed mode of sophisticated communication. ARCHETYPAL FORCE: The Power of All Spirit (Pan, and all Horned Masks, and other ‘primal animal/wilderness forces’, and Un- differentiated Sexual Force).
Identified in Magick as Pan or CHAOS – Nema ascribed the god Bes to this Aeon. .
The Aeon Of The Mother
TIME PERIOD: From the formation of prehistoric hunter-gathering cultures into the development of agriculture, and dominated somewhat by matriarchal organization of tribal units and clans. ARCHETYPAL FORCE: The Great Goddess Mother (all Goddesses of Nature). Identified in traditional Magick as NUIT or ISIS .
The Aeon Of The Father
TIME PERIOD: From the beginning of prehistoric city centers, really manifesting with the beginning of written history, hierarchal organization, the formulation of religions, political structures and a real shift to a patriarchal paradigm and the manifestation of Science, Industry, Monotheism etc. ARCHETYPAL FORCE: The Great God Father (All Heavenly male Gods). Identified in our non-Monotheist traditional Magick as HADIT or OSIRIS .
The Aeon Of The Son
TIME PERIOD: Roughly now. The breaking away from old hierarchies, new thinking and advanced technology, the breaking down of rigid ideologies, political structures, patriarchal con-structs and belief systems. New,wild, renewing, a wild child god of force and fire!. ARCHETYPAL FORCE: The Child Horus (or other wild child gods) Nominally Male-Androgyny Archetypal Force: New and explosive. Identified in our Magick as HORUS (The Child) .
The Aeon Of The Daughter:
TIME PERIOD: The Future (?) A transcendent age of rebalancing,renewing and rebirthing new concepts, ideas, cultural norms, organizational paradigms and lifestyles. Evolutionary Leap time! We see some hints of the possibilities of this future in the shifts in consciousness that are even now beginning.
ARCHETYPAL FORCE: The Other Child or ‘daughter’ (!) (All Future-leaning Archetypes of a Balancing nature). A New Human Form of Nominally Female-Gynander Archetypal Force, new and evolutionary. Identified in Magick as MAAT .
Every magickal system is a container for the possibilities of causing change with will or love, all Magick is liminal and, with what we now know, free of the old-aeon mental restrictions of hierarchical and linear progression- we now know that nothing is linear, time is flexible and illusionary and we are far freer and have far more options than we ever thought possible. It is physics that has opened the door and proven to be wilder and fantastic than any magick !
Our work in the Horus Maat lodge has been focused on using Magick to help humanity survive the volatile fiery current aeon of Horus and make the evolutionary leap to a new state of being that manifests balance, truth and justice.
We believe that this is the only way humanity will survive, we must evolve.
In late 1970s Nema received direct communications from the future, from entities calling themselves the ‘Children of Maat’ which, over time, offered a full transmission and a new Magick. The GSS, our small vibrant magickal group in NYC focusing more on Thelemic Magick, began to work with Nema (in Ohio) and were blown away by the intense power of her works and magick epitomized in the word/vibration from Maat directly : IPSOS.
This work, explained in depth in her book MAAT MAGICK, a must read, utterly transformed our workings and our paradigm as the waves of the FUTURE flooded our temples burning with the incendiary force of Horus. Soon we went to Ohio, joined forces literally and figuratively and founded the Horus Maat Lodge, the goal being to BRING THE MAAT GNOSIS INTO OUR CURRENT APOCALYPTIC TIMES TO HELP HUMANITY QUICKLY EVOLVE BEFORE DESTROYING ITSELF.
Nema often used the ‘twilight language’ of the Aeons to understand and focus on the shiftings in our magickal world and used this paradigm to craft PANAEONIC MAGICK and we all embraced it. Panaeonic Magick is a ‘new way’ of viewing and using magick in line with quantum mechanics and string theory because, literally, All time is now. All past/present/future is available to us NOW to work with/through/change.
WE CAN WORK WITH THE PAST, PRESENT AND ESPECIALLY THE FUTURE NOW, EVERYTHING IS OPEN!.
This changes everything of course. Regardless of your point of view, belief system or thoughts on magick and ritual, this is a revolutionary concept that is immediately applicable.
Nema directly received input from the future as have many of us.
She alerted us to the specific probability future where humanity makes the leap from Homo Sapiens to Homo Veritas (true human) and achieves real species unity in the form of unified consciousness. Many other sages have predicted this possibility such as Teilhard De Chardin who called it the Omega Point of true divine human unity. Nema called this being N’Aton.
In the end, we all know that this is a very real possibility future, but here is the thing: IT ALREADY EXISTS. That is quantum physics. There are a multiplicity of possibility futures. We are at a crucial and pivotal time of force, fire and a tantruming child god who tears down all the patriarchal hierarchies and old, worn out tropes and tribal authoritarian evils.
This is a time of danger, chaos, war and craziness- but it is the chemical chaos from which we can manifest the future we will, with love.
Nema and other visionaries and seers before her all saw this, they all warned of the dangers and pointed to the one star in sight of a healthy, joyous, sharing and evolved humanity based on balance, justice, truth and freedom. We know that this future exists- the goal is to help all beings find that right tightrope that crosses the abyss to that future unified species consciousness and joy that already exists.
Humanity has many choices, some end badly, at least one takes us to the next level of evolution.
This is the truth and true work of MAAT, not just to manifest Maat NOW, which is crucial of course, but to work to BECOME MAAT so that all achieve what the Tantrics call ‘Liberation’ that is, consciousness, happiness and unity.

Maat confirms that this is the Ago of Horus still, but it is Maat ( Feather and Air) who guides and supports him Horus.
13.The pylons of the ages are unshaken, firmly are they Set. The Day of the Hawk has but seen its dawning, and will see its due measure according to the Laws of Time and Space.
The Aeons still run their course, it is still the Aeon of Horus and will be for some time; an aeon is said to be 2000 years

Maat prevails or surpasses all times for all time is now..

Truth (Maat) pervades all Aeons and is not constrained by linear Time.
Time and Space serve Truth or Maat.

Maat manifests here and now to help us (the Lovers of Heru, magick makers) to survive and to transcend all aeons.
